recalled this convo with my dad this morning.
dad: so if u get a 4plus for your CAP can u get a transfer to med?
me: erm no? u need like CAP5.
dad: o izit? den get CAP5 lor.
me: u think veh easy to get? thats the max u noe.
dad: people can get CAP5 why u cannot? ni mei you xin shi ma? must be u're not trying hard enuf to score. if u are willing to work harder i dun think its veh difficult.
me: crazy CAP5 where got say get then get.
dad: *starts scolding all the way saying i'm not working hard enuf to score well and i dun care about my studies blah blah blah*
see? speechless. if he told me this when i'm in pri1 mayb i can understand. but at uni? its crazy not as if ppda anat physio pp is as easy as 1+1=2. and when i heard him say that, i'm disappointed. because it seems to make all my efforts go to naught when i'm studying like nuts and all my dad says is that i'm not even bothered to mug hard for my results. see the irony? i'm tired and trying veh hard to understand everything and hopefully not losing faith in my studies and i tout the last thing he should do is to undermine my efforts but... o wells lets not talk about this.
and i had a dream about proton donors and proton acceptors and lewis acids and bases a few nites before. GOSH.
