welcome

hello (:

quote

“But if you ever bring her back damaged again — and I don’t care whose fault it is; I don’t care if she merely trips, or if a meteor falls out of the sky and hits her in the head — if you return her to me in less than the perfect condition that I left her in, you will be running with three legs. Do you understand that, mongrel?”
those were the days

It said, “Last night before I slept, many thoughts ran through my mind. It was thoughts of the good times I had spent in DHS. If you remember how during morning assembly Mr Kiw would point out the row number and the position of the person who did not sing the anthem and we start counting 1 2 3 4 5 (heng not me ar!), if you still remember 细水长流being played during 720am, if you still remember squeezing on 158 every morning, and if you still remember jay walking to cross 2 roads after alighting from bus number 30, then I think you would have more vivid memories of the good times you spent with your good friends. Looking back, I realize DHS is where I made my closest friends, and so I hope it is for you too.”

a DHS alumni wrote this, on a group on FB. and jus a note, not to forget the hokkien song yao ping cai hui ying played on the PA system every morning whenever its one month from exams. not to forget the marching song that was played on the PA system every morning (after the rest of the songs) that made us ran from the fourth floor all the way to the parade square and tucking in our shirts as we ran because it meant there's only 5mins before the national anthem was played and if we were late, haha dun think about the consequences. and so much more... i think i'll accept the invitation and join the group.
