a man was cleaning his new car when his 4 year old son picked up a pebble and scratched his car. upon seeing that, the man was so angry that he started to hit his son's hands repeatedly, without realising that he was holding a wrench. when it dawned upon him, he immediately sent his son to the hospital, only to have the doctor telling him that his son will lose all his fingers because of multiple severe fractures. teary-eyed, his son looked up to him and asked," daddy, will my fingers grow back?" the man was too guilty and upset to answer his son and he walked away sadly. when he walked back to his car and saw the scratches, what he saw shocked him. the scratches that his son left on the car were words, and they read "LOVE YOU DAD".
the line btwn love and anger is often easily blurred.
remember that things are meant to be used while people are meant to be loved; not love the things u have and use the people u have.
we should watch our thoughts, because they become words.
we should watch our words, because they become actions.
we should watch our actions, because they become habits.
we should watch our habits, because they become our characters.
we should watch our characters, because they become our destinies.
